About The Event
Fred Luskin, Ph.D., is the director of the Stanford University Forgiveness Project, Senior Consultant in Health Promotion at Stanford University and a professor at the Institute for Transpersonal Psychology, as well as an affiliate faculty member of the Greater Good Science Center, UC Berkeley. He also serves as the Co-Chair of the Garden of Forgiveness Project at Ground Zero in Manhattan.
He is the author of Forgive for Good: A Proven Prescription for Health and Happiness and Stress Free for Good: Ten Proven Life Skills for Health and Happiness with Kenneth Pelletier, Ph.D.
Dr. Fred Luskin has done extensive research on the training and measurement of forgiveness therapy. Taking forgiveness out of religious and psychological domains, he anchors his practice in science, health and wellbeing with a focus on enhancing physical vitality, hope, greater self–efficacy, enhanced optimism. He conducts workshops and seminars throughout the world bringing his expertise and experience to show people the roadmap for their own happiness. He has worked with individuals and organisations to enhance their stress management skills and with warring factions, such as in Ireland and Sierra Leone towards conflict resolution.
The sheer simplicity and accessibility of his work make forgiveness seem necessary and doable.
